Bike Week is one of major events that the City of Toronto does to promote cycling and the Toronto Bike Plan. It is a collaborative effort with community groups, businesses, organizations and the city planning and hosting events. All of these events can be advertised in the Bike Week Calender which is published and distributed by the City of Toronto.

This year Bike Week runs between May 26th to June 8th, 2003. (Actually it is longer than a week but you know how time flies when you're having fun.) Some events are already set in place such as the 14th Annual Group Commute & Free Pancake Breakfast on Monday, May 26, The Becel Ride for Heart on Sunday, June 1 and Walking/Wheeling Wednesday on Wednesday June 4. There will be many more events listed in the Bike Week calendar.

If you or your organization want to have an event during Bike Week you have until March 28th, 2003 to submit it. To get more information on how to plan and register a Bike Week event you can see the Bike Week web site. You can also download the Bike Week event registration form. This form has to be completed and submitted by noon on March 28th. If you have any questions about organizing event you can contact the Bike Week organizers. Their contact info is below.
