On November 20th a book launch is being held at the Gladstone Hotel for a new book entitled "uTopia: Towards a New Toronto. On the website of the publisher Coach House Books the book is described as:

an anthology that aims to capture and chronicle the wave of civic pride and enthusiasm that has washed over the city during the past two years. A compendium of pie-in-the-sky speculations and pragmatic suggestions by thirty-four different journalists, artists, thinkers, architects and activists,

Two of the essays in the book are by figures well known in the cycling community, Jacob Allderdice and Dave Meslin. You can find more information on the book at the following link uTOpia: Towards a New Toronto

The launch is being held at the Gladstone Hotel. The details are quoted below.

Article Comments:
Not only was the launch interesting, exciting, and informative (leaving a sweet TO 'potential' taste in your mouth) but so does the book. I strongly recommend it and suggest it may become something of a renewal/planning guide/text for the city's future.
