1) Are you familiar with the Toronto Bike Plan and will you support its implementation of as one means of reducing car dependance as outlined in Toronto's Official Plan?Strongly Support
Comments: To reduce car dependence, and to effectively to do some thong to safe our planet Bike plan is a strong initiative, I active supporter of the plan. In my election agenda I proposed some specific plan regarding these. Please visit my web site: www.nasirforcouncillor.com
 
2) Would you support requests to amend bylaws to exempt bicycles from traffic calming turn restrictions and entry restrictions on streets in your ward?Strongly Support
Comments: We should do everything to make streets bike friendly.
 
3) Do you support measures to ensure that the City of Toronto's policy of keeping bike lanes clear of snow is carried out; and would you support expanding this policy to off road paths?Strongly Support
Comments: Bike lanes should be clear of snow.

Comments: I will support and actively working to implement it and I wil also try to speed up the process.
 
5b) There is are bike lanes proposed in your ward for Cosburn Avenue and Dawes Road as highlighted on the attached map. Will you be supporting the installation of these bike lanes?Strongly Support
Comment: I will and will also investigate to further expansion of the route in the ward.
 
6) Do you support improved integration between Cycling and The Transit system by such measures as: Bike carrying racks on TCC Buses, and, building secure bike parking facilities at TCC stations?Strongly Support
Comments: whole transit system should be bicycle friendly including buses, streetcars and subway trains.

Comments: I will support it because it is possible to realize with a minimum budget expenditure. Geographically Toronto is fairly flat city for biking. If it could be done in Beijing and Amsterdam it could be done here too.
 
10) Would you support the extension of the former City of Toronto's Zoning Bylaw regarding Bicycle Parking Requirements (which requires bike parking facilities as well as shower and change facilities) to cover all new commercial and residential buildings across the rest of the Megacity?Strongly Support
